Missions & Outreach

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations"

Matthew 28:19

At Mars Hill Community Church we spread the love of God in our community and around the world through local and global outreach. We currently partner and support a number of local, domestic, and global missions. Through these partnerships we aim to help individuals discover their gifts and passions and deploy them into meaningful ministry.

Costa Rica Mission Trip '24: Update #3
September 28th, 2024
Saturday was a big day for the team. It was a day we have been praying about and preparing for months. It was our Park Day. We were out the door at 7:30 AM so we could head to the park and set up. Our activities were supposed to begin at 9:00 AM, but people were already arriving at 8:00 AM when we got there. They had to walk a little over a mile to get there, plus an uphill climb to get to the are...

We started the day by building bunk beds for local families, packing supplies, and preparing for Saturday’s big event. One of the most memorable moments was visiting the home of a local family. We built a bunk bed for the four children and prayed over the family, asking for God’s blessings and protection...

Hola from San Pedro de Macoris. We have now spent three afternoons with the girls who come here for camp. They gather inside to worship and hear a message all in Spanish. The team prepares each morning with Phil's sermon notes so we can follow along later. This is helpful for those of us who don't know the language.Today, when we were outside in our small groups, the girls did a craft that will re...
