For more than 25 years, Wolfgang Sutter has worked in his native Austria with Athletes in Action, a sports ministry and offshoot of CRU. Their focus is on camps for teenagers and young adults which have seen the fruit of changed lives. Some of the kids who once came to these camps are now dedicated Christians and staff members of AIA Austria.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, AIA Austria was able to successfuly launch and maintain a robust online ministry.

Every year, more and more Austrians are leaving the Catholic church, only to become non-religious. AIA Austria aims to reach that population for Jesus Christ and help disciple them into meaningful relationships with Him.
