Missions Partner Spotlight: Bridge to Israel

This month, we are focusing our Missions Partner Spotlight on BRIDGE TO ISRAEL! Bridge to Israel exists to link the Kingdom of God between Israel and America. There is a lot of love and support from the American church towards Israel, but Bridge to Israel believes there is a severe lack of understanding about our call to Israel as followers of Christ. With millions of Christians from around the world visiting Israel each year, how is Israel one of the least Christian nations in the world? Israel is the birthplace of our Messiah, where the foundations of our faith were laid and the home of nearly all of the early Christians. The mission of Bridge to Israel is to better educate the American church on the necessity of supporting Jewish believers in Israel and to both encourage and help facilitate connections between the Kingdom of God in Israel and in America. By serving as a link between the two parts of one body of believers, we can be a part of God growing His Kingdom in the Holy Land.

Bridge to Israel serves by sending financial support directly to Messianic ministries in Israel like Beit Eliyahu in Haifa and  One for Israel / Israel College of the Bible in Netanya, by changing the way Christian tours of Israel are planned and placing an emphasis on including meaningful connections with local ministries in each tour, by offering education on our Biblical duty to Israel and on Jewish culture, by spotlighting Messianic ministries in Israel and connecting them with American ministries, and through other special projects.

How can you pray for BRIDGE TO ISRAEL?

  1. Pray for the MHCC June Israel trip. One of the main motivations of Bridge to Israel is that we (as the church) must not go to Israel and leave it the way we found it. Please pray that God will impact the hearts and minds of each trip participant to see beyond the “tour bubble” and see Israel's tremendous need for Jesus Christ! Also pray for us as we continue to work on the trip itinerary and build in meaningful opportunities for the group to go beyond the tourist attractions and get to interact with and support Messianic ministries in Israel.
  2. Pray for more educational opportunities—both for Bridge to Israel to learn and grow as a ministry, but also for us to be able to share Biblical truth about Israel with our audience.
  3. Pray for opportunities and funding for us to help provide Hebrew-language New Testament Bibles to ministries in Israel.
