Missions Partner Spotlight: Orphan Care Ministries

This month, we are focusing our Missions Partner Spotlight on three different orphan care ministries that we partner with—PROMISE686, FAITHBRIDGE and SAVING SUSAN!

The mission of Promise686 is to fulfill God's promise "to set the lonely in families" (Psalm 68:6), working toward this goal by mobilizing church communities to care for vulnerable children.

Promise686 works through a model called 'Family Advocacy Ministries' (FAMs). The hope is to see every child in a safe, loving family, forever. FAMs help to get closer to this goal by creating support systems for foster & adoptive families, and biological families in crisis.

FaithBridge partners with local churches to help raise up and license adoptive, foster, and respite families. A Christ-centered foster care and adoptive ministry not only allows churches to care for vulnerable children and their families but also provides a way to support foster and adoptive families.

Saving Susan is transforming global orphan care through relational sponsorships that connect orphaned and abandoned children in countries where borders are closed to adoption to loving families in churches. The Parent Partner sponsors from churches like MHCC walk alongside each child through high school and higher education. We share the goal of each child becoming a Christian leader in their own community for the purpose of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Saving Susan fully relies on God to lead and direct our steps through a commitment of intentional prayer.
