This month, we are focusing our Missions Partner Spotlight on HOLT'S HOUSE OF HOPE! Holt’s House of Hope is a place in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic that exists to provide a safe place of community for youth ages 8-18. The girls and guys can come 2-3 (specified days) times each week to receive a hot meal, have access to shower facilities, engage in sports, games, art, and receive Biblical & Discipleship training. Many are living in poverty, and we have a system in place for them to earn points for school attendance, completing tasks, attending meetings, memorizing Scripture, and other things. They can use these points in an onsite “store” to get things such as hygiene products clothing, shoes, school supplies, snacks, and toys/sports equipment. We also provide school uniforms and supplies for each child at Holt’s House.  Read More
